Netflix adds film "Super Dark Times" to their catalog

The subscribers to the popular Video on Demand service Netflix have since last week a new title to add to their lists. Super Dark Times (2017) is the debut feature film of director Kevin Phillips and was written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, also authors of the screenplay for the interesting horror drama flick Stephanie (2017).

Super Dark Times (2017) is about two teenage kids, Zach and Josh, who have been best friends their whole lives. But when a gruesome accident leads to a cover-up, the secret drives a wedge between them and propels them down a rabbit hole of escalating paranoia and violence. The movie has had a long run in film festivals along 2017, achieving a good handful of nominations and even some winnings. It has been watched and welcome in events such as International Film Festival Rotterdam, Tribeca Film Festival, Fantasia International Film Festival, New Zealand International Film Festival, Fantastic Fest or Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival to name a few.

The movie is starred by a bunch of young actors like Owen Campbell, Charlie Tahan, Elizabeth Cappuccino, Max Talisman, Sawyer Barth, Amy Hargreaves, Adea Lennox and Ethan Botwick among others. Here is the official trailer for Super Dark Times (2017):
