The movie is the debut in a feature film of Fernando Alle, director of horror comedy short films like Papá Wrestling (2009), O Rim (2008) or the awarded Banana Motherfucker (2011). The movie has been co-written between Alle and Adrián Cardona, the creator of the popular gore comedy short film Fist of Jesus (2012).
In Mutant Blast (2018), Maria, a fearless soldier, and TS-347, a man with superhuman strength, are being pursued by a military cell responsible for scientific experiments that have resulted in a zombie apocalypse. No release date for the movie has been announced, but it is to expect that once this week it has the world premiere it will be part of the abundant and exciting Troma catalog, sharing a spot with titles like Surf Nazis Must Die (1987), Sgt.
