Movie premiere: "The Sudbury Devil" brings witch hunters investigating rumors of devil worship in the 17th century

No location can be better for the premiere of a film like The Sudbury Devil (2023) than The Satanic Temple World Headquarters in Salem, Massachusetts. And the event will accompany a Q&A with the cast and crew and access to the gallery itself, worldwide known for exhibiting the famous bronze gigantic statue of Baphomet.

But let’s see what the movie has to offer.

The Sudbury Devil (2023) is set in the late 17th century and it follows two Puritan witch hunters who travel to a small Massachusetts town to investigate rumors of devil worship and are irrevocably transformed by the ungodly forces they encounter.

The movie is produced, written, edited, and directed by Andrew Rakich, a filmmaker who is well familiar with witchcraft and myths after working as a living historian at Gettysburg National Military Park and having developed several fiction and documentary pieces about demonology, witch-hunting, and other occult crafts subjects.

Benton Guinness, Linnea Gregg, Josh Popa, Matthew Van Gessel, Kendra Unique, Carl Sailor, Christian Matyi, and the director Andrew Rakich form the main cast in The Sudbury Devil (2023).

More info about the event and the admission tickets can be found at The Satanic Temple of Salem’s Art Gallery’s official website. Watch the official trailer for The Sudbury Devil (2023).
