The lovers of monstrous creatures have a reason to celebrate and add to their watch list two new films that have been recently released.
In Bigfoot’s Bride (2021), our dear Bigfoot goes about his daily business of survival: killing hunters, foraging for food, and building shelter. Until he discovers a group of campers and finds himself in love with the beautiful Jody.
This is the debut film as a writer, producer, and director of Erick Wofford, an occasional actor who has also participated as the crew and special effects artist in popular films like Rings (2017) and some entries in the Hunger Games film saga. Jordan Phipps, Jessica Megan Rivera, Joel Rogers, Meghan Marie Otis, Chris Ferrell, Devin Marcus Miller, and Casey S. Wagner form the main cast.

On the other side, Saltwater: The Battle for Ramree Island (2021) claims to be inspired by actual events. In it, a band of soldiers in search of a secret Japanese ammunition store face off against deadly saltwater crocodiles in the swamps of Ramree Island. Inspired by actual events during World War 2.
Steve Lawson, who has been behind numerous other low-cost monster and horror flicks like KillerSaurus (2015), Survival Instinct (2016), Hellriser (2017), Aura (2018), Pentagram (2019), and Bram Stoker’s Van Helsing (2021). Charlie Bond, Steven Dolton, Ryan Harvey, Glenn Salvage, and Jas Steven Singh form the main cast.
