Mister Limbo (2021) is an independendent comedy with a dosage of science-fiction and horror about two strangers that wake up in the middle of the desert with no memory of anything – including their names. Are they dead? Or did they just party too hard at Burning Man?
In the movie, a young man in a parachute lands in the middle of a desert. He does not remember who he is or how he got there. As he tries to find his way home, he will come across several people who also seem to wander through this endless wasteland.
This is the new feature film of writer, producer, and director Robert G. Putka, known for his debut Mad (2016), that premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival, and We Used to Know Each Other (2019).
The main cast of the movie is formed by Hugo de Sousa playing the title role, Vig Norris, Hugo Armstrong, Frank Brown Jr., Christopher Carrillo, Chris Doubek, Amy Hoerler, Jennifer Antoinette Kennedy, Heidi Luo, and the special guest Cameron Dye, known for being the star of cult science-fiction title The Last Starfighter (1984).
Mister Limbo (2021) was part of the international film festivals Fantaspoa, Chattanooga Film Festival, Arizona Underground Film Festival, George Lindsey UNA Film Festival, Beloit International Film Festival, Americana Film Festival, and Florida Film Festival. Now, it is schedued for a digital release by Terror Films on September 2, 2022.
