Megan Fox stars in horror-thriller "Till Death"

It’s been a while we haven’t heard of Megan Fox. Becoming a sex icon in a very sudden way thanks to her role Mikaela Banes in Transformers (2007), she got tagged as a conflictive actress when she shared some comments about how Hollywood movies, including her director Michael Bay, treated female performers as a sheer body, turning her whole role as a sex object. Later she made peace with Bay and appeared in the forgettable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) as April O’Neil, but her public image for the big media was already damaged. In between, she had the chance to prove she could be a decent performer well aware of how to use her seductive assets in favor of her character in titles like Jennifer’s Body (2009) and Passion Play (2010).

For some only a hot body but for others an interesting performer, it is good news to see she’s back to business with a collection of upcoming movies. If before we were talking about serial-killer thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass (2021), coming out later this month, where she shares the screen with Bruce Willis, she also has ready the horror-thriller Till Death (2021) hitting the screens this weekend.

In Till Death (2021), after a romantic evening in their secluded lake house, Emma (Megan Fox) awakens handcuffed to her dead husband. Trapped and isolated in the dead of winter, she must fight off hired killers to escape her husband’s twisted plan.

This is the debut feature film of S.K. Dale, director of the awards winner horror short film The Coatmaker (2018). Jason Carvey, the producer of the documentaries VHS Massacre (2016) and VHS Massacre 2 (2020), has been in charge of the screenplay.

Together with Megan Fox, Callan Mulvey, Eoin Macken, Jack Roth, Aml Ameen, and Lili Rich complete the main cast.

Screen Media Films has the distribution rights for Till Death (2021) and has it scheduled for a release on July 2, 2021, in theatres and on digital. Here you can watch its official trailer.
