Jagged Edge Productions, the people who have brought this year the notorious Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) and are also responsible for creature horrors like Croc! (2022), Dinosaur Hotel (2021) [read our review here], and the upcoming in-production Bambi: The Reckoning, released the horror drama Medusa (2020) a few years ago, where after being bitten by a snake a young lady’s life begins to take a sharp turn for the worst as a deadly virus plagues her body. Now, they have joined forces with Proportion Productions and are releasing the movie’s sequel: Medusa’s Venom (2023).

In this sequel, newcomer Lola is welcomed into Medusa’s circle and endures a powerful ritual that will bring her closer to her new sisters; however what awaits is more influential and dangerous than she ever imagined, awakening the serpent within her.

This is the debut feature film of the director Chase Martins. Craig McLearie, who is known for the stories for Pterodactyl (2022), Curse of Jack Frost (2022), Dragon Fury: Wrath of Fire (2022), and The Killing Tree (2022) [read our review here], has been responsible for the screenplay.

The cast for Medusa’s Venom (2023) is formed by May Kelly, Becca Hirani, Sarah T. Cohen, Simon Ellis, Ella Starbuck, Lauren Staerck, Connor Powles, Kate Sandison, and Keith Eyles.

The movie is coming out on DVD and TV on Demand on February 14, 2023, by Devilworks.
