Night Shyamalan is the kind of filmmaker who never stops working. With his latest movie to date, Old (2021), still echoing, and the busy agenda the success of the TV series Servant (2019–) is getting, from which he is executive producer, he has just announced on his Twitter account that he is already filming what is going to be his fifteenth feature film.Considered one of the current biggest names in fantasy filmmaking thanks to movies like The Sixth Sense (1999), Unbreakable (2000), The Village (2004), or Lady in the Water (2006), not much is known about his upcoming movie besides that it is entitled Knock at the Cabin and it is a home invasion horror film taking place during the apocalypse.Allegedly, yesterday was the first day of shooting. The announced cast that is working under the orders of M. Night Shyamalan includes Jonathan Groff, who has been seen in The Matrix Resurrections (2021) and the Mindhunter (2017–2019) TV series, Dave Bautista, known for his roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy saga, Blade Runner 2049 (2017), Dune (2021), and Army of the Dead (2021), Rupert Grint of the Harry Potter movie sagas, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Ben Aldridge, Abby Quinn, and William Ragsdale.

M. Night Shyamalan is producing and directing a screenplay he also wrote.

If everything goes as planned, we gotta have the new Shyamalan movie on the theater screens in less than one year, since Universal Pictures has scheduled the release of Knock at the Cabin (2023) on February 3, 2023.
