Disappointment Blvd. is a decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.
Joaquin Phoenix, known for his fan-favorite performance in Joker (2019), and Parker Posey, that has appeared in films like Scream 3 (2000), Blade: Trinity (2004), Superman Returns (2006), and The Eye (2008), lead the main cast that also includes Michael Gandolfini, Amy Ryan, Zoe Lister-Jones, Nathan Lane, Kylie Rogers, Patti LuPone, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Hayley Squires, and Denis Ménochet.
As happened with his previous 2 films, A24 is producing and financing the film with Ari Aster writing the screenplay and directing. Aster and Lars Knudsen are producing for Square Peg.
