The fourth entry in the Insidious saga, Insidious: The Last Key (2018), is coming up in cinemas worldwide next week. And to warm up motors, a behind the scenes video has hit the net. In it, we can see several clips of stars Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Josh Stewart, Javier Botet and Kirk Acevedo working under the orders of director Adam Robitel. Sometimes it’s fun to watch how actors and filmmakers get along in an ambient of jokes and fun when they are filming a dark and creepy tension horror film, right?
After the events in the previous film, Elise Rainier, played again by Lin Shaye, goes on to investigate the recent supernatural disturbances occurring in a family’s home in New Mexico, a house in which she used to live in her youth, diving her deeper into The Further. As the previous Insidious films, this one is also written by actor Leigh Whannell. Adam Robitel, whose previous film The Taking of Deborah Logan (2014) was one of the surprises in the genre a few years ago, is in charge of the direction. Blumhouse Productions, together with Leigh Whannell frequent collaborator and pal James Wan produce the title.
Insidious: The Last Key (2018) is starred by Lin Shaye, Ava Kolker, Hana Hayes, Angus Sampson, Leigh Whannell, Josh Stewart, Caitlin Gerard, Spencer Locke, Kirk Acevedo, Bruce Davison, Pierce Pope, Thomas Robie, Tessa Ferrer and creature performer Javier Botet.
Without further ado, check out the behind the scenes video, a good apetizer until the movie comes out next week:
