It looks like this is the week of weird movies trailers. If yesterday we showed the teaser for Danny Trejo against mutant pig-soldiers in Bullets of Justice today it is the day to talk about resurected far west gunfighter and a blood thirsty werewolf motorcycle gang. Yes, that is the main plot of Howlers (2018).
Because in Howlers (2018), also known as High Moon, Colt is a gunslinging werewolf slayer from the old west. One day he mysteriously rises from the grave, only to find that the band of werewolves that brutally murdered his wife are still running rampant generations later. Aided by a beautiful widow, a skeptical town sheriff and a corrupt Mayor, Colt must face off with the bloodthirsty creatures once again to save a sleepy southern Dallas town from destruction.
Josh Ridgway writes and directs Howlers (2018), his second feature film after the action science-fiction The Sector (2016). Sean Patrick Flanery, Chelsea Edmundson, Chad Michael Collins, Ted Ferguson, James Wlcek, Farah White, Matthew Tompkins, Mark Hanson, Todd Jenkins, Richard Jackson, Chad Law, Declan Joyce, April Hartman and Grace Montie are the main actors of the show.
The movie had a limited theatrical release last year and apparently the response was quite positive. Now we know it is going to be available on Video on Demand next 14th of May and will be released on DVD the 2nd of July. You can watch the trailer for Howlers (2018) aka High Moon here:
