You want horror? You’ll get horror. In Extremity (2018), Allison is a young woman with a severely troubled past who signs up for an extreme haunt called Perdition. She believes that putting herself through Perdition‘s nightmarish trials will help her exorcise her internal traumas, but has no way of knowing just how shocking her ordeal will be-or what dark secrets buried in her psyche will emerge. What a bloodbath can flow from here, right?
So this is the plot of the new film by Anthony DiBlasi, probably better known for the adaptation of Clive Barker’s short story Dread (2009) or the horror thriller Last Shift (2014). In Extremity (2018), he adapts for the screen a script written by David Bond and Scott Swan, a due used to gruesome stories with even more gruesome results as shown in The Profane Exhibit (2013).
The film is starred by Dana Christina, Chad Rook, Natalie Victoria, Angelique Berry, Paul Braaten, Ashley Smith, J. LaRose, Ami Tomite and Yoshihiro Nishimura. The release date is still unknown, and we are still waiting for the first official trailer or teaser. But, at least, we can witness some images to get us in the mood for the movie.
