We have already stepped into October, the month of Halloween, and digital platforms and theatrical releases are going to take the chance to shoot some of their horror cartridges. And Netflix has always been generous in producing horror, science-fiction and fantasy works, so these days we are going to have some new releases in the popular streaming service. Vampires vs. the Bronx (2020) is the first one to see the light in the Halloween countdown.

Vampires vs. the Bronx (2020) centers a group of young friends from the popular New York City district who fight to save their neighborhood from gentrification… and vampires.

The movie is directed by Osmany Rodriguez, Primetime Emmy Awards winner for Creating Saturday Night Live (2016– ) TV series, and also responsible for numerous other short films and TV shows. He has also been the writer of the screenplay together with Blaise Hemingway. Jaden Michael, Gregory Diaz IV, Sarah Gadon, Shea Whigham, Method Man, Coco Jones, Judy Marte, Chris Redd, Adam David Thompson, and Jeremie Harris form the main cast.

Vampires vs. the Bronx (2020) is Rated PG-13 for violence, language and some suggestive references. In September 2020, Netflix acquired distribution rights to the film. It is scheduled to be released today October 2, 2020. Here you can watch the official trailer for the movie.
