More Graboids! Check out the trailer for "Tremors 6: A Cold Day in Hell"

The Tremors saga can’t compete with other extense horror sagas like Halloween, Friday the 13th or A Nightmare on Elm Street, but it has already had its good bunch of titles. Including 5 feature movies and 2 TV Series, one from 2003 with 13 episodes and another one currently in post-production directed by Vincenzo Natali and starring the original actors from the first movie, Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward. So it seems that the Graboids are going to be in vogue this 2018.

Taking advantage of this revival of the Tremors franchise, a new straight to video feature film is on the way. This 6th film is entitled Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018) and it will come out on DVD and Blu-Ray on May the 1st. Don Michael Paul and John Whelpley, who already were director and writer respectively of the previous movie Tremors 5: Bloodlines (2015), repeat as responsible of this new one. Michael Gross, who has appeared in all the movies of the saga, as well as the 2003 TV Series, reprises once again his role of Burt Gummer. Together with him, Jamie Kennedy, Tanya van Graan, Stephanie Schildknecht, Greg Kriek, Jenna Upton, Jay Anstey, Jamie-Lee Money and Christie Peruso also star.

In Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018), Burt Gummer and his son Travis travel to a remote research station, where they must go up against Graboids that have been converted into living weapons. This marks some sort of straight sequel of the fifth entry of the saga Tremors 5: Bloodlines (2015), where Burt Gummer meets his son for the first time and they team up as the ultimate monsters hunter team.

As always happens with this kind of horror sagas, the sequels are never at the same level as the original. In this case, it happens the same. The magic that Tremors (1990) had couldn’t be achieved again. Although all the sequels maintain the same spirit of adventure, comedy and action along the whole saga. Never as good as the first one, but always entertaining. And after watching the trailer for Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018) I feel like this time it’s going to be the same. It won’t be the best movie ever, but I’m pretty sure it can bring some good funny moments. I’m gonna try to get me some more Tremors, what about you? Check out the trailer and see for yourself!
