Sean McKittrick might not be one of the most recognizable film producers by his name, but he has been behind some of the most important movies of this new millennium. He has earned two nominations at the Academy Awards for Best Picture for Get Out (2017) and BlacKkKlansman (2018). He has also been producer of other popular horror and mystery titles like Donnie Darko (2001), The Box (2009), God Bless America (2011), Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016), and Us (2019). His latest production is horror thriller Antebellum (2020).
Antebellum (2020) tells the story of successful author Veronica Henley, who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late. The movie is the debut film of writer, producers and directors Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz, who to the date they have worked together in numerous music videos, short films and documentaries.
The main star in Antebellum (2020) is Janelle Monáe, a popular R&B singer and actress who starred in Oscars-winner Moonlight (2016). Together with her, Kiersey Clemons, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Eric Lange, Gabourey Sidibe, Robert Aramayo, Lily Cowles, Marque Richardson, and Devyn A. Tyler also star.
