John Wick is still against the crime syndicate. Or, better said, the crime syndicate is against John Wick since the poor man only wants his justice and freedom. Betrayed for following his own high morals, the indestructible assassin is about to face his next step of action and adventures to achieve is peace.
In John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), John Wick uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.
Chad Stahelski is back to the director’s chair, a spot where he has been present the entire saga. The screenplay is written by Michael Finch, known for the scripts of Predators (2010), The November Man (2014), and Hitman: Agent 47 (2015), and Shay Hatten, who debuted with the screenplay of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019), which followed his work in Army of the Dead (2021) and Army of Thieves (2021).
Keanu Reeves is back as John Wick, as it couldn’t be different. Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, and Ian McShane are reprising their roles from the previous movies, with the attractive addition of Donnie Yen (The IP Man saga), Bill Skarsgård (Pennywise in the new IT movies), Scott Adkins (The Expendables 2 (2012)), Clancy Brown (Starship Troopers (1997), A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)), Hiroyuki Sanada (Army of the Dead (2021), The Wolverine (2013), Sunshine (2007)), and Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter saga). Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, and Marko Zaror complete the main cast.
Lionsgate is distributing and set the international release date for March 24, 2023. The final trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023) is already out.
