The fantasy thriller Fear the Invisible Man (2023) is a new adaptation of the classic science-fiction novel by H.G. Wells The Invisible Man, first published in 1897.

The movie centers on a young British widow who shelters an old medical school colleague, a man who has somehow turned himself invisible. The main cast is led by the veteran David Hayman, known for his participation in popular titles like Eye of the Needle (1981), Sid and Nancy (1986), The Jackal (1997), Vertical Limit (2000), The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (2008), Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014), and Macbeth (2015). Mhairi Calvey, Mark Arnold, Grahame Fox, and Emily Haigh complete the main cast.

Philip Daay, the writer of the horror and science-fiction-oriented thrillers Left in Darkness (2006), Abduct (2016), Crystal’s Shadow (2019), Captors (2020), and White Sky (2021), has been the writer of the screenplay based on a story by Helena Gergelova and Monika Gergelova. Paul Dudbridge, an awards-winner director with the TV series Horizon (2015–), is behind Fear the Invisible Man (2023).

101 Films have the distribution rights for the movie and has scheduled for a release on digital platforms, including Amazon Prime, and on DVD on June 13, 2023.
