If you like the American TV show Saturday Night Live, or if you are a dork for good hearted independent comedies such Little Miss Sunshine (2006) or Be Kind Rewind (2008), probably Brigsby Bear (2017) is going to be one of the top titles of this year for you. Regarding its short life, the movie has already collected a good bunch of nominations as best film at some of the film festivals it has attended to. Prestigious festivals like Cannes Film Festival 2017, Melbourne International Film Festival 2017, Sundance Film Festival 2017 or Sydney Film Festival 2017 had the movie as one of the most liked ones.

But the run for the film festivals season is not yet over for Brigsby Bear (2017), and the 13th of October it will get its screening that the Sitges Film Festival 2017, right after its run at the London Film Festival the 4th of October. Lots of positive reviews from the international press endorse this movie as one of the best comedies of the year.

Brigsby Bear (2017) is directed by a debutant in a feature film Dave McCary, although he has a wide experience on short films, TV and all sorts of media. The movie is starred by a bunch a comedy faces like Kyle Mooney, Jane Adams, Greg Kinnear, Matt Walsh, Michaela Watkins, Ryan Simpkins, Alexa Demie, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Chris Provost and Claire Danes. Even Mark Hamill, the eternal Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars franchise has an important supporting role.
