Seobok (2021) is a South Korean action and science-fiction thriller where an ex-intelligence agent is tasked with safely transporting Seo Bok, the first-ever human clone, who holds the secret of eternal life. But not everything goes as expected, as several forces try to take control of Seo Bok to serve their own agendas.
Yong-Joo Lee, one of the people behind horror and mystery Possessed (2009), is the director of Seobok (2021). Park Bo-Gum, Gong Yoo, Jang Young-Nam, and Woo-jin Jo form the main cast.
Seobok (2021) was planned for a theatrical release in December 2020, but its release was postponed due to the resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the end, the film is released simultaneously in theatres and via streaming media TVING on April 15, 2021. It also will be part of the Imagine Film Festival in the Netherlands on April 16, 2021.
