Erzulie (2022) is a horror and fantasy movie centering on a reunion between four friends that quickly goes awry when they find themselves face to face with a swamp mermaid goddess named Erzulie.
This is the new movie written, produced, and directed by awards-winner filmmaker Christine Chen after a few short films and the feature comedy-drama Funemployment (2019). Camille Gladney is the co-writer of the screenplay.
The main cast in Erzulie (2022) is formed by Zoe Graham, Elizabeth Trieu, Jason Kirkpatrick, Isaiah LaBorde, Alexander Biglane, Timeca M. Seretti, Courtney Oliviér, Diana Rose, Eric Gibson, and Leila Annastasia Scott as Erzulie.
The movie had a limited release in selected theaters during May. Now, it is scheduled for a digital release on June 14 from Kamikaze Dogfight and Gravitas Ventures.
