"Demonic Toys: Jack-Attack": For these evil clowns this is not a game but a splatterfest

It is far in time when Demonic Toys (1992), written and produced by Charles Band and directed by Peter Manoogian, became a hit direct-to-video film. It never became a big saga, but it spawned into a series of sequels, Dollman vs. Demonic Toys (1993), Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys (2004), and Demonic Toys: Personal Demons (2010), this last one being the first film of the franchise directed by William Butler. Now, the director returns with Demonic Toys: Jack-Attack (2023).

The movie centers on a young orphaned girl without the ability of speech who finds that she has been gifted with the notorious Jack in the Box from the Demonic Toys.

Besides being the director, William Butler is also the writer of the screenplay and the producer of the film. He is a former actor, star in Terror Night (1987), Ghoulies 2 (1987), Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), Arena (1989), Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990), Buried Alive (1990), Night of the Living Dead (1990), Spellcaster (1992), and Watchers 3 (1994) turned into a writer, producer, and director responsible for Madhouse (2004), The Resonator: Miskatonic U (2021), Beyond the Resonator (2022), Curse of the Re-Animator (2022), and Carnage Collection: Deadly Dollies (2023) to name a few.

The cast in Demonic Toys: Jack-Attack (2023) is formed by Sofia Castellanos, Mabel Thomas, Sean Ramey, Maddie Small, Taylor Abigail Rice, Carson Polish, Brooklynn Johnson, Donna Steele, and Christine Brunner.

Charles Band is the executive producer of the film and is releasing it on the Full Moon Features streaming platform.
