If yesterday we were talking about the upcoming movie from Tommy Wirkola, What happened to Monday aka Seven Sisters (2017), now it’s time to talk about the third installation of the infamous Nazi zombies trilogy that turned him into the already cult filmmaker he is. The director, who currently is working on TV Series based on his movie Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013), mentioned in an interview some details about this third film that will complete the Død snø trilogy together with the movies Dead Snow (2009) and Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead (2014).
Regarding this subject, Tommy Wirkola has said to JoBlo.com: “Just so you know, if you’re a fan of the Dead Snows, we’re hoping to make a third one in a few years. We’ve got to finish the trilogy, so I’m very excited about that. We’ve got to finish what we started, all of us! We have some ideas. I think it’s natural to maybe put some of the story in South America, where a lot of the Nazis fled, of course. We’ve got to top what we’ve done before, we have to bring back Hitler as well. Zombie-Hitler. That just feels natural”.
The first Dead Snow was a zombie splatter gory and very funny movie about several friends who take to the snowed mountains in Norway and to vacation. Their peace is soon interrupted by a mysterious old man who informs them that during WWII, Nazi invaders of the area were brutal and harsh in their methods of control until, according to a legend, a villager’s revolt drove the invaders up into the cold, dark mountains, where they perished. And perhaps they perished, but they are not gone for good! So the undead Nazi zombies are back to claim what they think that belongs to them. Check out the trailer and fucking enjoy!
