Daniel Craig will be James Bond again in at least 2 more films

What fans of the most famous British spy have been waiting is finally confirmed. After stating “rather slash my wrists” than play 007 again and “it would be for the money”, Daniel Craig has confirmed he’ll be James Bond again. He was said to have been offered up to £120million for two more films. Who can say no to that?

That means everything is in order to start to work for the 25th film in the James Bond series. Writer John Logan, who was also responsible for the script of the last 2 entries of the series Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015), will also write this new 007 adventure. The plot, director, and rest of the cast are still unknown. But what is known is that producer Barbara Broccoli wants to make sure to repeat the successful tandem of Skyfall (2012) and wants the singer Adele to sing the main theme for the film. Her song Skyfall was the first Bond theme to win at the Brit Awards, Grammy Awards and Golden Globes, so this decision sounds like a wise move.

Daniel Craig has been named, together with original actor Sean Connery, the best actor to perform the secret agent with a license to kill. Created in 1953 by novelist and former spy Ian Fleming, numerous actors have shared their face to portrait the world’s most famous secret agent. The films are the longest continually running film series of all time and have grossed over $7.040 billion in total. That makes them it the fourth-highest-grossing film series to date, which started with Dr. No (1962).

After Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015), this will be the fifth time Daniel Craig will wear the suit of James Bond. To date, Roger Moore has the record of more movies as Bond, with 7 films in total.
