As every year, the San Diego Comic Con is used as the platform for many small or big studios to release the trailers for their bigger projects. Warner Bros. didn’t miss the chance to present for the first time the first official sequence of images of their biggest superhero production of the year, Aquaman (2018). The director of the movie, the always prolific James Wan, is very active on Twitter (follow him as @creepypuppet) and has already been giving hints for the last days that the trailer was soon to arrive.
The movie centers on Arthur Curry, who learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and to be a hero to the world. This is the birth of Aquaman, to become a member of the Justice League. Jason Momoa plays the title character, and is accompanied by Amber Heard, Dolph Lundgren, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Randall Park, Willem Dafoe, Graham McTavish, Djimon Hounsou, Temuera Morrison and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in this aquatic epic. Leigh Whannell, frequent collaborator of James Wan, has a small cameo which can already be seen in the trailer. Have you spotted him yet?
Aquaman (2018) will open in December this year worldwide. If you are craving for more news about this movie, it is recommended to follow the Twitter’s official page @aquamanmovie together with James Wan’s.
