Malasaña 32 (2020) is an upcoming Spanish horror movie inspired on real events. Like most European cities, Madrid has been existing for centuries and many of the older houses host plenty of legends, tales and records of all sorts of crazy events and crimes. The story of the movie centers around a family in the 70s who settles in the Madrid neighborhood of Malasaña where their new house will become the worst of their nightmares.
The director of the movie is Albert Pintó, a filmmaker known for his debut film and co-writer and co-director, the very original horror comedy Matar a Dios (Killing God as the international name) (2017) [read our review here], that achieved a collection of awards nomination and winnings along its festivals run including Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre, Fantafestival, San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival and Sitges Film Festival. Now he leaves dark comedy aside to focus on a pure horror and supernatural movie.
Malasaña 32 (2020) is starred by María Ballesteros, Javier Botet, Sergio Castellanos, José Luis de Madariaga, Iván Marcos, Bea Segura, and Begoña Vargas. The movie is scheduled to get released on 17 January 2020. Here you can find its first official trailer in the Spanish language without subtitles.
