Yeah, everybody knows Rob Zombie is an A-class heavy metal musician with a powerful band named after his own name, and that he is also a successful filmmaker having been behind acclaimed titles like House of 1000 Corpses (2003), The Devil’s Rejects (2005), Halloween (2007), Halloween II (2009), The Lords of Salem (2012), and 3 from Hell (2019), but did you know his younger brother is also a successful musician, the frontman and founder of the industrial metal band Powerman 5000, and is also an awards-winner filmmaker?
Both in his music and film efforts, he goes by the name Spider One. He has been the producer, writer, and director of several of his band’s music videos, some short films, and the demonic horror Allegoria (2022). His latest work is the horror movie Bury the Bride (2023) and it can already be found in Tubi.
The movie is set on bride-to-be June’s bachelorette getaway, which turns deadly when her blood-thirsty fiance and his friends show up to crash the party.
The movie has been written and produced by the director Spider One and the main star Krsy Fox, also a musician member of the alternative electronic-rock band Knee High Fox. The two are the masterminds in OneFox Productions.
Scout Taylor-Compton, Dylan Rourke, Lyndsi LaRose, Chaz Bono, Rachel Brunner, Katie Ryan, Adam Marcinowski, and Cameron Cowperthwaite also star in Bury the Bride (2023).
The movie had its premiere at the Panic Fest this year where it got an enthusiastic welcome.
