After a handful of short films, always in the genres of fantasy and horror, Turkish director Can Evrenol shocked the work with his debut film, Baskin (2015), which became an instant classic. Now, 2 years after, he has his newest movie ready, entitled Housewife (2017), which is his first title in English language. In it, Holly watched her mother kill her sister and father at age 7. An unexpected reunion with an old friend further complicates matters, introducing Holly to a strange cult-like group that follows a celebrity psychic, one who takes a special liking to Holly. And because of him, her worst nightmares become shockingly real..
