The Good Things Devils Do (2020) is the debut feature of writer and director Jess Norvisgaard, who has also served as executive producer, after his short film The Resurrection of Kryst (2016). It centers Richard, a soon-to-retire small-time gangster. Before he can call it quits, he must take one last job: to steal money from a rival gangster’s house. Miles apart, Melvin is a reluctant family man who has dreams of becoming a famous curator for his Museum of the Macabre. His newest acquisition? The remains of the notorious Masquerade, a vampire born from the embers of hell, slain centuries ago. On Halloween Night, their paths will collide and they’ll be forced to work together to fight centuries-old evil with everything on the line.
The movie is starred by three classic faces in horror films, Linnea Quigley, known for being part of the cast of unforgettable films like Graduation Day (1981), Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), The Return of the Living Dead (1985) and Night of the Demons (1988), Kane Hodder, who besides having appeared in hundreds of productions as a stunt artist and actor he is better know for portraying the evil murderer Victor Crowley in the Hatchet saga, and Bill Oberst Jr., another veteran in the horror business who has appeared in an infinity of titles including Nude Nuns with Big Guns (2010), Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies (2012), Circus of the Dead (2014), Ditch Day Massacre (2016), Night of the Babysitter (2017), and 3 from Hell (2019). Together with them, Bobby Pimentel, Kelley Wilson Robinson, Mary Katherine O’Donnell, Veronika Stoykova, Peter Presta, David Rucker III, and Piper Suttles also star.
