In the movie, a renowned exorcist teams up with a rookie priest for his first day of training. As they plunge deeper into hell on earth, the lines between good and evil blur, and their own demons emerge. They try to stop the demonic possession of a young boy.
The Seventh Day (2021) has been produced, written, and directed by Justin P. Lange, a young filmmaker whose debut feature film The Dark (2018) achieved several awards in genre festivals like Fangoria Chainsaw Awards, Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival, and Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival.
The cast for The Seventh Day (2021) is led by some actors popular in horror and action movies. Guy Pearce, who gained popularity with L.A. Confidential (1997) to shine with his own star in Memento (2000), and lately has appeared as Peter Weyland in Ridley Scott’s Alien prequels Prometheus (2012) and Alien: Covenant (2017), leads the cast. Together with him, veterans Stephen Lang, notorious for being Colonel Miles Quaritch in Avatar (2009) and the upcoming sequels, and recently seen in Don’t Breathe (2016), and Keith David, unforgettable for being in John Carpenter’s The Thing (1982) and They Live (1988), as well as over hundred film productions, also star. Vadhir Derbez, Brady Jenness, Robin Bartlett, Chris Galust, Acoryé White, James Healy Jr., Hannah Alline, Heath Freeman, and Stephanie Rhodes complete the main cast.
