Disquiet (2023) is a horror-thriller movie with a supernatural element centering on a man who after a near-fatal car accident wakes to discover he is trapped in an abandoned hospital by mysterious and sinister forces that have no intention of letting him leave.
Michael Winnick, known for the horror and thriller-oriented titles Deuces (2001), Shadow Puppets (2007), Guns, Girls and Gambling (2012), Code of Honor (2016), and Malicious (2018), has been the writer and director of Disquiet (2023).
The main role is played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, a Primetime Emmy Awards nominee for the Elvis (2005) mini-series and also present in Yakuza Princess (2021), Damascus Cover (2017), The Shadow Effect (2017), The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013), Mission: Impossible III (2006), and Velvet Goldmine (1998), and also the TV series Vikings (2013–2020), The Tudors (2007–2010), and Dracula (2013–2014). Rachelle Goulding, Elyse Levesque, Lochlyn Munro, Trezzo Mahoro, Garry Chalk, and Anita Brown complete the main cast.
Disquiet (2023) is Rated R for violence, language, and some nudity. The movie had a limited release in the USA in January and now it is available on digital on Paramount+ and Amazon Prime Video.
