Next week starts the South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW), one of the most important of the season that merely just began. From the 9th to the 17th of March, in this 25th edition of the festival, a good handful of the movies that are going to be big in this year 2018 will be screened. But also, some little gems can be discovered.
One of these gems could be Blood Fest (2018), which is having its world premiere at the festival. The movie is the second feature film by writer and director Owen Egerton, and stars Zachary Levi, Jacob Batalon, Tate Donovan, Seychelle Gabriel, Robbie Kay, Barbara Dunkelman, Nicholas Rutherford, Olivia Grace Applegate, Paul Ogola and Isla Cervelli.
In Blood Fest (2018), fans flock to a festival celebrating the most iconic horror movies, only to discover that the charismatic showman behind the event has a diabolical agenda. As attendees start dying off, three teenagers with more horror-film wits than real-world knowledge must band together and battle through every madman, monstrosity and terrifying scenario if they have any hope of surviving.
