Amazing first trailer for Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape Of Water"

Guillermo del Toro is soon to be back with another fantasy story full of well-hearted monsters in the times of wars made by humans. Not even 24 hours ago, the people from Fox Searchlight Pictures, producers of the title, released the first official trailer for The Shape of Water (2017). And one can see this is going to be a visually sublime film!

In the middle of the Cold War, 1963, in the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.

After watching the trailer for The Shape of Water (2017), it is for sure neither the fans of Guillermo del Toro or the fantasy lovers, in general, are going to be disappointed. The film is written by Guillermo del Toro, based on an original story from himself, together with Vanessa Taylor. Besides Del Toro’s frequent collaborator Doug Jones playing the water creature, and the already mentioned Sally Hawkins and Octavia Spencer, the cast has other attractive names like Michael Shannon, Michael Stuhlbarg, Richard Jenkins or Lauren Lee Smith. The movie is expected to come out in USA theaters the 8th of December, and the rest of the world early in 2018.
