A young woman running from an abusive past seeks refuge in a haunted house in “H.P. Lovecraft’s Witch House”

The Hanna–Ochler–Elder House, also known as the Hannah House, is a historic home located in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. It was built in 1859 and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five-bay, Italianate style brick dwelling with Greek Revival style design elements. It has a lower two-story kitchen wing with a gallery added in 1872. The house has a low-pitched hipped roof with bracketed eaves. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Oh, and it is known to be haunted.

Supernatural horror movie H.P. Lovecraft’s Witch House (2021) centers on graduate student Alice Gilman, a young woman running from an abusive past. She seeks refuge in the infamous Hannah house. Determined to prove the possibility of alternate dimensions, she unknowingly unlocks a gateway to unimaginable horror. Facing a series of bizarre and violent events, Alice is plagued by nightmarish dreams of these evil entities. Trapped between the 4th dimension and reality, the diabolical truth is revealed as Alice fights for her sanity and her very soul.

The movie is based on H.P. Lovecraft‘s short story The Dreams in the Witch House. Bobby Easley, who has been behind the horror titles The Dead Bodies in #223 (2017), Belly Timber (2016), and All Sinner’s Night (2014), has produced, directed, and co-written H.P. Lovecraft’s Witch House (2021). Ken Wallace is the co-writer and producer.

Portia Chellelynn, Julie Anne Prescott, Andrea Collins, Erin Trimble, Solon Tsangaras, John Johnson, Shonda Laverty, Bill Levin, and Joe Padgett form the main cast.

Horror Wasteland Pictures International is releasing the movie on DVD and digital on July 5, 2022.
