A successful woman succumbs to the horrors of solitude and grief in "Faye"
Sarah Zanotti in Faye (2021)

The horror film Faye (2021) is advertised as the first one-woman feature in the USA, the first American feature film only starring one actress. It is an ambitious and horrific character study that deals with grief and represents the process, isolation, and hardships of overcoming tragedy.

The movie centers on the fictitious Faye L. Ryan, a successful personal growth author mourning the loss of her husband. She retreats to a cabin on the bayou in Louisiana to gather her thoughts and finish her next book. But her trip becomes harrowing when she is haunted by something far more sinister than her past.

This is the new movie from an awards-winner producer, writer, editor, and director Kd Amond, known for her horror short film The Woodshed (2012), and the features Rattled (2020) and Five Women in the End (2019). Sarah Zanotti is the co-writer, co-producer, and main star of Faye (2021).

Produced by AZ if Productions, the movie is getting a digital release on May 10, 2020.
