In the low-budget horror-thriller Incessant (2023), a couple on the rocks take some time away hiring a place to stay in the country. Instead of peace, they find themselves encountering a audio effecting virus, a parasite that will slowly rip them apart.
This is the new movie produced, written, and directed by the awards-winner filmmaker Sam Mason-Bell, known for a bunch of independent horror films including Industrial Animals (2016), Toxic Schlock (2017), Millennial Killer (2020), Hacker: Trust No One (2021), Decline (2022), Senseless (2022), and segments in the anthologies The 12 Slays of Christmas (2016), 60 Seconds to Die (2017), 2 Die For (2018), A Taste of Phobia (2018), Grindsploitation 5: Schlocksploitation (2018), Welcome to Hell (2018), 60 Seconds 2 Die: 60 Seconds to Die 2 (2018), 60 Seconds to Di3 (2021), Philia (2021), Ouija Experiment (2022), Video Shop Tales of Terror (2023). His frequent collaborators Jackson Batchelor and Annabella Rich are the co-writers of the screenplay.
Besides being the co-writer, Annabella Rich plays the main role in the film together with Chris Mills and Chris Riley Ellis.
Incessant (2023) is produced by Trash Arts Productions, a collective maker of short films, comedy web series, feature-length films, music videos, promotional videos, and documentaries based in Portsmouth UK. Brutalist Films and HB Films with Cyfuno Ventures as the sales representatives.
