The Devil Comes at Night (2023) is a horror movie that centers on a washed-up boxer searching for his inheritance who must fight for his life when he is trapped in his deceased father’s farmhouse by a local cannibal cult.
With the help of Amy, the local librarian, Ben discovers the cult’s leader, Mason, has been hunting down his family for generations. And now his sights are set on Ben. Together, Ben and Amy come up with a plan to defeat the cult once and for all.
This is the debut feature film of the co-writer, executive producer, and director Scott Leaver, known for being behind the awards-winner TV mini-series Touring T.O. (2014– ). The screenplay has also been written by the main stars of the film, Ryan Allen and Adrienne Kress.
Jason Martorino, Elias Zarou, Shawn Ahmed, Todd Campbell, Dana Fradkin, Dl MacDonald, Jeremiah Sparks, and Julie Cohn complete the main cast.
