As that popular sentence repeated over and over by the annoying followers of Game of Thrones (2011–2019) say, “Winter is coming”, and, with it, some regions better get ready for a frost. Lives will be in danger once again. And, as a tutorial on how to survive it perhaps one can take a look at the chilly thriller Frost (2022).
The movie tells the story of a young woman and her estranged father who fight to survive after being stranded on a remote mountainside during a winter storm.
Vernon Wells, popular for his participation in 1980s movies like The Road Warrior (1981), Weird Science (1985), Commando (1985), and Innerspace (1987), and Devanny Pinn, one of the newest generations scream queens having taken part in almost a hundred titles including Piranha 3D (2010), Nude Nuns with Big Guns (2010), The Black Dahlia Haunting (2012), Lilith (2018), and The Dawn (2019), are the stars of the film that also includes former TV child family star Venus DeMilo Thomas (Family Matters (1989–1998), Sister, Sister (1994–1999)).
Frost (2022) has been directed by Brandon Slagle, also responsible for other b-movie efforts like Subject 87 (2007), Wonderland (2011), Area 51 Confidential (2011), House of Manson (2014), Crossbreed (2019), and Attack of the Unknown (2020). The movie is based on a story by James Cullen Bressack, the director of the action thrillers Hot Seat (2022), Survive the Game (2021), and Fortress (2021), and with a screenplay written by Robert Thompson (Aftermath (2012)).
Produced and distributed by Cleopatra Entertainment, Frost (2022) has had a digital release on October 11, 2022, and also a collectible release on Blu-Ray.
