Night Drive (2021) is a mystery thriller where a rideshare driver’s life is turned upside down after an unexpected series of misfortunes. Wicked situations and a dark sense of humor are waiting at every turn.
Russell is a driver in Los Angeles who’s reeling from a series of bad decisions. While his life seems to be caught in a downward spiral, a business proposition from an alluring but enigmatic passenger named Charlotte proves too good to turn down. A simple ride turns deadly, catapulting Russell into an even darker place, but Charlotte may be the key to a second chance he thought he’d never have… if he can make it through the night.
Meghan Leon has been the writer of the screenplay and debuts as a director together with Brad Baruh. The duo worked together in Baruh’s previous film, horror and fantasy Dead Night (2017).
The movie is starred by AJ Bowen, an actor present in a lot of horror productions including The Signal (2007), The House of the Devil (2009), You’re Next (2011), or Satanic Panic (2019), and Sophie Dalah, a young actress also present in horror films Satanic (2016) and Dead Night (2017). Together with them, Lamar Bell, Reba Buhr, LeeAnn Demarco, Andrew Enloe, and Dianna Miranda also star.
