Yeah, I know, COVID-19 sucks big time. But it could always be worse, and for that we have entertainment. Because as the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Take a look at In the Earth (2021).

The always interesting Ben Wheatley, responsible for the thrillers with a dosage of comedy and horror Kill List (2011), Sightseers (2012), A Field in England (2013), High-Rise (2015), and Free Fire (2016), has been the writer and director of In the Earth (2021). Conceived, written, and produced in quarantine, in September 2020, Wheatley announced he had made a horror film over the course of 15-days in August 2020.

Joel Fry, Reece Shearsmith, Hayley Squires, Ellora Torchia, Mark Monero, and John Hollingworth, form the cast of In the Earth (2021).

The movie was part of the Sundance Film Festival on January 29, 2021, where it collected mainly positive reviews. Now, it is set for a digital release on April 30, 2021. Here you can watch its official trailer.
