Sound of Silence (2023) is a scary, stylish haunted house horror movie with a twist in the vein of James Wan‘s The Conjuring (2013) and Mike Flanagan‘s Oculus (2013). It centers on Emma and how she must uncover the dark secret behind a cursed radio to survive and protect her family.
In the movie, after her father ends up in the hospital, Emma flies back from New York to her hometown in Italy and stays at her parents’ home. All alone in the house, she faces an evil entity that is connected to a cursed radio. Emma will have to unveil the dark secret behind the radio to survive the night and protect the ones she loves.
This is the new movie written, produced, and directed by the trio of filmmakers Alessandro Antonaci, Daniel Lascar, and Stefano Mandalà, under their alias T3. They have also been responsible for the science-fiction comedy L’uno (2020) and the horror thriller You Die (2018).
The cast for Sound of Silence (2023) is formed by Lucia Caporaso, Chiara Casolari, Daniele De Martino, Claudio Dughera, Rocco Marazzita, Alessandro Marmorini, Sandra Pizzullo, Penelope Sangiorgi, and Peter Stephen Wolmarans.
XYZ Films has the distribution rights of the movie and has scheduled it for a digital release on March 9, 2023.
