Low Life (2022) is a modern thriller for the digital age, bending the classic story structures of crime and vigilante movies and adapting them to the times controlled by the internet. Vividly executed, and wholly original, the movie becomes an exciting new voice in genre fimmaking.
The movie centers on Benny, a small time YouTube star who catches predators online. Until he experiences a night from hell when he lets one of them into his own home.
This independent film is the debut feaature of Tyler Michael James, who got some recognition with his awards-winner short films Anna’s Nova (2015) and Panopticonvict (2015). Hunter Milano and Noah Rotter are the writers and producers of the film, and also play supporting roles.
The main cast in Low Life (2022) is formed by Wes Dunlap, Lucas Neff, Lucy Urbano, Jake Dvorsky, Anthony Sorrells, Luna Montana, Devin Sidell, Annie Milligan, Marguerite Moreau, and Hunter Milano.
XYZ Films is distributing the movie and set it for a digital release on August 25, 2022.
