A birthday prank goes very wrong in thriller "Take The Night"

The cultural impact of David Fincher’s second movie Se7en (1995) was so massive that his next film, The Game (1997), almost went unnoticed. In it, the premise of “what gift to make to a person who already has everything” becomes the excuse for one of the most exciting thrillers of the 1990s decade.

In the crime thriller Take the Night (2022), the filmmakers introduce a new turn of the screw of the concept. In it, when a resentful brother organizes a birthday prank kidnapping, he unwittingly hires career criminals who have plans of their own.

This is the debut feature film of producer, writer, director, and main star Seth McTigue.

The rest of the principal cast is formed by Roy Huang, Brennan Keel Cook, Sam Song Li, Shomari Love, Antonio Aaron, Grace Serrano, Ashwin Gore, Bobby Nish, and Valéry Lessard.

Take the Night (2022) is Rated PG-13 for some violence. The movie won the Best Director award and got some other nominations at the Golden Door International Film Festival of Jersey City, and also won the Copper Wing Award at the Phoenix Film Festival. Now, it is scheduled for a digital release by Saban Films on July 8, 2022.
